Greystone is an independently owned and operated steakhouse located in the heart of downtown San Diego's historic Gaslamp Quarter. We feature prime-aged meat, seafood and pasta with influences form the culinary traditions of Europe, America and the Pacific Rim. To complement our cuisine, Greystone also features an award-winning wine list. Our spacious, multi-level floor plan features a classic yet contemporary décor and a relaxed cosmopolitan ambiance perfect for entertaining.

LOCATION
Greystone is located 658 Fifth Avenue (at G Street) in the Gaslamp Quarter just a short walk from the San Diego Convention Center and most downtown hotels.
Valet parking is available nightly on Fifth Avenue mid-block between Market and G Streets.
Coach transfers are best scheduled for drop-off and pick-up on eastbound G Street just before the corner of Fifth Avenue.
CAPACITIES
Greystone has a total seated dining capacity of 145 persons. The restaurant and each of its different seating sections are available for either private or semi-private events. (Semi-private events involve the non-exclusive use of the restaurant or one of its sections). The different dining sections of the restaurant and their capacities are listed as follows:
Mezzanine Level
This is Greystone's single largest section of floor space and has a seating capacity of 55 persons.
Main Dining Room
Featuring walls lined with banquettes and an exhibition kitchen, this space can accommodate up to 45 persons.
Private Room
This completely private dining space features a functional fireplace and has a single rectangular dinner table with a seating capacity of 14 persons.
Note: The private room is located beside and is accessed by the Mezzanine Level Dining Room.
Sidewalk Terrace
Under the remnants of a former theatre marquis, this heated open-air enclosure offers comfortable al fresco dining for up to 16 persons.
HOURS
Greystone is open nightly for dinner at 5p.m. and continues serving until 10p.m. on weeknights, until 11p.m. on weekends (Call for details regarding closing times). We are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
DOOR POLICY
Though no dress code is enforced, dress is normally described as "business casual". No jackets are required. Guests under 21 years of age and properly supervised minors are both welcome.
DIRECTIONS
From the North heading southbound Hwy 163:
Take Hwy 163 southbound until it becomes 10th Avenue. Go straight onto 10th Avenue and continue until Market Street. Turn right on Market Street and continue until 5th Avenue. Turn right on 5th Avenue. Greystone the Steakhouse is halfway up the block on the left side at 658 5th Avenue, between Market and G Streets.
From the North heading southbound I-5:
Take I-5 southbound and exit Front Street. Veering right, the Front Street off-ramp becomes southbound Front Street with no turn necessary. Continue straight on Front Street until Market Street. Turn left on Market Street and take it to 5th Avenue. Turn left on 5th Avenue. Greystone the Steakhouse is halfway up the block on the left side at 658 5th Avenue, between Market and G Streets.
From the south heading northbound I-5:
Take I-5 northbound and exit at 6th Avenue. Turn left (southbound) onto 6th Avenue and continue until Market Street. Turn right on Market Street and continue one block to 5th Avenue. Turn right onto 5th Avenue. Greystone the Steakhouse is halfway up the block on the left side at 658 5th Avenue, between Market and G Streets.
From the East heading westbound I-94:
Take I-94 westbound until it ends and becomes F Street. Continue on F Street westbound until 10th Avenue. Turn left onto 10th Avenue. Continue on 10th Avenue until Market Street. Turn right on Market Street and continue until 5th Avenue. Turn right onto 5th Avenue. Greystone the Steakhouse is halfway up the block on the left side at 658 5th Avenue, between Market and G Streets.
