About Our Wine Director
Josh’s interest in wine comes from his affinity for great foods. He loves to cook foods from all over the world. Josh started working in fine dining nearly 10 years ago and has sixteen years of experience in the service industry. He worked as a bartender and server during college at Missouri State University. His passion is wine. Teaching others about wine is his way of giving back to his guests.
Josh is a level 2 Certified Sommelier with plans on attaining his Advanced certification. At Greystone Steakhouse (in the Gaslamp, San Diego) you will see Josh exemplifying his skills on the floor. Humbly excited to continue his quest for more knowledge of the world of wine he stays up to date with the Court of Master Sommeliers. Josh will pair an eclectic variety of meals with a great bottle of wine from his list of over 400 wines separated by region all over the globe. Josh oversees the Greystone “wine club” and allows its members to have exclusive access to his personal email for all inquiries.
